Our mission at Open Door Access is to make it possible for people to live the way they want to live, where they want to live, with self-determination and dignity. 

At Open Door Access, we promote universal design for home, work and play in our communities and we provide care management for older adults. 

We offer individually tailored consultation for:

• Accessibility:  universal design for private homes and public buildings to promote safety, independence, and visit-ability.

• Geriatric Care Management: enhancing quality of life and health, independence at home and connection to community. 

• Education and Community Outreach: identifying community supports and resources; promoting knowledge and inclusion.

Our services are provided by Nancy E. Krusen, a nationally certified occupational therapist and geriatric care manager.  Nancy is educated at the doctoral level and brings twenty-eight years of experience to this practice.  She involves clients as partners in solving the puzzles of everyday living.  Her personal experience, knowledge, skills and values form the basis of our services.
