The Universal Design and Home Accessibility web site is a service of Iowa State University, University Extension.  The site offers suggestions for building and remodeling, information regarding laws to make buildings accessible and resources for universal design and home accessibility.  

The Larimer County Office on Aging, in the Larimer County Department of Human Services, is a comprehensive planning unit that advocates for the concerns of older adults and caregivers.  They advocate, plan, coordinate, and deliver services and programs, with emphasis on meeting the needs of those who are socially and/or economically disadvantaged.

The National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers web site provides information regarding finding a care manager, the role of the manager and the Standards and Ethics by which the care manager abides.  Consumer resource information is also available.

The American Occupational Therapy Association web site provides information regarding the profession and consumer tip sheets such as Aging in Place, Fall Prevention and Modifying Your Home for Independence.  The site also contains information regarding Standards and Ethics for occupational therapists.    

The AARP web site, formerly known as the American Association of Retired Persons, has a wealth of information regarding health and legal issues.  The site is user friendly and searchable.
